Fine Arts at The Fair

One of the things that make Vancouver so special is its support of diverse cultures and the arts. Of course, at the PNE, we rely on the talented performers who come from Vancouver and all across Canada to entertain guests each year at The Fair, and couldn’t put on our 15 day event without them. The arts are a very important part of our culture and having actors, dancers, musicians, community performers and more at The Fair each year help us contribute to Vancouver’s artistic offerings. This year you can look forward to the classics of PNE Star Showdown, Community Showcase, Dal Richards Orchestra and DrumBeats – but there will also be lots of new, fun shows to experience including the new children’s show Let’s Pretend with KC Bear and musical attraction, 80’s Forever. The Fair at the PNE is back this weekend so come and support your local performers and enjoy everything that there is to offer at the best part of summer!

  1. I am so sad that the PNE has decided not to be open on Mondays! I have been going to the PNE for the past 32 years and have only missed ONE year! I always went on mondays as they weren’t as busy which made it enjoyable! Looks like I’ll be missing my first one in almost 20years as I get mondays off and cannot go any other day! The Monday you are open is a holiday and everyone and their DOG will be there making it your busiest day 🙁 So disappointed 🙁

    • We’re sorry you’re disappointed, Amanda. We’ve closed The Fair on Mondays, August 19 and 26 in order to save on operating costs which has allowed us to pass along the savings to our guests, with a 20% reduction in admission and parking prices.
