It has been twenty-five years since the Gipsy Kings captured the world’s imagination with their self-titled debut album—a record that became a genuine phenomenon, certified gold and platinum around the globe, introducing millions of listeners to a unique, irresistible blend of traditional flamenco styles with Western pop and Latin rhythms.

The Gipsy Kings drew a sold out crowd at the WestJet Concert Stage. The audience was on their feet dancing to the flamenco guitars, bongos and drums. There were no fewer that 10 musicians on stage all playing in unison and they didn’t miss a beat. They delighted the audience by playing many of their popular songs such as Djobi Djoba, Volare and Bamboleo.

The Gipsy Kings prove that music is a universal language. You can’t keep your feet from moving, your hips from shaking and your hands from clapping!
